my sandwich

First when I was making my sandwich it was a total fiasco! The colours where totaly wrong. I had painted over it when it was dry. It was much better!!! I had only one little problem, the layer paint whas a little bit to thik so it cracks a little bit. Now I am happy with the colours and the shadow.

I am very happy with my work. It was nice to do!

The trees look very nice. I haven't enything more to say.

My landscape!
I am happy whith my landscape. It was nice to do! Only the sky can better and the mounthains in the back can also a little bit better. But I am be satisfied with my work.

the colour circle from Johannes Itten

The colour circle is made by Johannes Itten. He was born on 11 november 1888 in Switzerland. He studied as an elementary school teacher from 1904 to 1908. But he becomes a painter. Later around 1920 he published a book named The art of colours. So he commes on the idea to made a colour circle or colour wheel. he was around 79 jears old when he died in 1967.

Manneke pies

This piece of art is a statue. It is made in 1619. Hiëronymus Duquesnoy has made this in order of the municipality of Brussels. You can find Manneke pies in the center of Brussels. It is a boy of 85 cm high. It is made of bronze. The legend of this statue is a boy that saved the town extinguishing a flaming kernel by urinating on it. I've chosen this because it very popular in Belgium. It is also a comic statue.
