Manneke pies
This piece of art is a statue. It is made in 1619. Hiëronymus Duquesnoy has made this in order of the municipality of Brussels. You can find Manneke pies in the center of Brussels. It is a boy of 85 cm high. It is made of bronze. The legend of this statue is a boy that saved the town extinguishing a flaming kernel by urinating on it. I've chosen this because it very popular in Belgium. It is also a comic statue.
